On the Wings of Love: A Journey to the Heart

Samadhi Yoga is delighted to presents the fourth in the series of stand alone yoga and mindfulness Flow Sessions Retreats,


Join me for a full day of self-nurturing deliciousness, healthy food and a few surprises designed to soothe and nourish Body, Mind and Soul. Using the ancient chakra system as a lens, we'll be exploring the subtle energetic forces alive within and around us.

Springtime is in the air as we ascend to the Heart chakra, ‘Anahata’, which literally means 'the unstruck chord' for what is set to be an uplifting and inspiring experience.

To quote Shakespeare,"if music be the food of love, play on" - and in this vein, using a number of sacred practices including Yoga Flow, Yin, Yoga Nidra, Meditation and more, we will retune the strings of our own heart-song.

Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Kent coast, The Pines Calyx eco-venue operates a zero carbon footprint and sits within an organic garden teaming with wildlife and nestling on the edge of the coast - It is a truly magical escape!

It doesnt matter if you missed the first one as each is an independent journey of self-discovery. Foundations of Yoga for Absolute Beginners (8-week course on Saturdays)

What is Yoga? How can it benefit me? Do I need to be flexible to practise? 

These are just some of the questions that will be answered during this 8-week course for Absolute Beginners. Let me reassures you right now that you do not have to be flexible in order to practise yoga. By the same token being flexible holds its own set of unique issues, so is there is just as much for you to learn!

'Foundations of Yoga' will introduce students to the basics of:

(1) Pranayama  (breath work) and the mind-body connection

(2) The Core as a foundation for good posture, strength and balance

(3) Asana (poses) alignment, anatomy and physiology

(4) Flow and the use of breath as a guide

(4) Yin and restorative yoga

(5) Relaxation, mantra, meditation and more

By the end of the eight week course you will be able to identify your own strengths and weakness and know how to redress these. You will be equipped with tools to help reduce stress and find peace in your everyday life. Best of all, you will be ready to move onto the next level of yoga practise, working your way through blockages to bliss!
