CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

Gentle/Vinyasa Flow Breath-to-movement synchronised sequences set to a varied playlists depending on the theme of the class, which often introduces elements of yoga philosophy and energetics. Good for strength, flexibility and balance.  Focus is  on alignment for good posture and injury prevention.

Yoga Nidra A deeply relaxing meditation inducing a dream-like state maintaining full consciousness. It is said that 40-minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 3-hours of unbroken sleep. It has been found to reduce tension and anxiety and help with a number of physical and mental disorders.

Yin Yoga  Floor based only poses held for longer periods of time ranging from 2-5 minutes to allow the bodies connective tissues real and release. Based on Chinese meridian theory classes focus on organ groups and their energetic qualities. A slower paced class  inviting the student to deepen into the body-mind.
